The AND Solutions Limited’s senior delivery team comprises the following people. It is their responsibility to manage the delivery of our services to our clients.
Simon Butler PGDCCI (Open) FISTC MBCS
Managing Director and Co-Founder
Simon is a very experienced Technical Author, having started in the profession in 1987.
Before founding AND Solutions Limited in association with John Lee, he worked as a Technical Author (both permanent and contract) for companies in a wide range of technologies including; Pharmaceutics, Aerospace, Telecommunications, Defence, and Logistics.
He is a former President of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC) – the largest UK-based society for Technical Authors and associated professionals.
He lives in Wiltshire with his partner, Julie.
John Lee IEng MIET FISTC
Technical Director and Co-Founder
John is an experienced Technical Author, having joined the profession in 1998 after a career as an Electronics Engineer in the British Army.
Before founding AND Solutions Limited in association with Simon Butler, he worked in a number of technical communication roles within the Network Services Division of Motorola.
John is married with 2 children, and lives in Wiltshire, England.
Peter Newsom MISTC
Senior Consultant
Peter joined the company in 2008 as a Senior Consultant. His main role is to manage the work we do for our Asian clients. He is a highly-experienced Technical Communicator and is qualified as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
Before joining AND Solutions, he worked in several industries in both permanent and contract roles. Industries include IT, telecommunications, lighting, and missile technology. He initially worked in electrical and electronic engineering. He made the move to technical writing because he thought so many manuals were so bad and has not looked back since.
Peter has two children both of whom have two children of their own, and lives in Wiltshire.
